Pool usage guidelines

Your Stock Tank pool

To ensure safe, hygienic, and enjoyable use of your stock tank pool, please follow these essential usage guidelines:

1. Supervision and Age Safety

  • Children must be supervised at all times when near or in the pool.

  • Never leave children unattended, even for a moment.

  • Ensure responsible adults are present when the pool is in use.

2. Water Quality and Maintenance

  • Regularly check and maintain water pH, chlorine, and filtration levels.

  • Clean the filter as instructed in the product manual.

  • Drain, clean, and refill the pool periodically to prevent algae and bacteria buildup.

  • Use a pool cover when not in use to reduce debris and evaporation.

3. General Use and Behaviour

  • Do not dive or jump into the pool — it is not deep enough for safe diving.

  • Avoid horseplay, running near the pool, or rough activity.

  • Do not use glass containers around the pool area.

  • Ensure proper entry and exit (use steps or a safe ladder if necessary).

4. Weather Considerations

  • Do not use the pool during thunderstorms or heavy winds.

  • Secure covers and equipment during storms.

  • If lightning is present, vacate the pool immediately.

5. Pets

  • Do not allow pets in the pool — this may damage the lining, disturb water balance, or cause injury.

  • Keep pets supervised near the pool area.

6. Winter or Off-Season Care

  • If not using the pool for extended periods:

    • Drain or partially drain the pool

    • Clean and store the pump and filter

    • Cover securely to prevent debris or mosquito breeding

  • Consider using a mild pool-safe antifreeze or algaecide as recommended

7. Repairs and Modifications

  • Do not drill, weld, or modify the pool without consulting us — this may void your warranty.

  • For repairs or replacement parts, contact our customer service team on enquiries@stocktankpoolswa.com.au
